Our History
C&H Insurance Services, LLC started out of necessity. In 1999 Hurley & Associates Agri-Marketing Centers saw a need in their customers for a complete risk management plan that would include both price and yield protection. While they were competent in the price side of things, they could not control the yield protection side and had a difficult time finding crop insurance agents willing to sit down together with their clients. Amanda Hurley, who at that time worked for Hurley & Associates, was asked if she would be interested in filling this role in addition to her other duties.
It did not take long until this became a full-time job and C&H Insurance was born to create two separate companies. No one wanted clients to feel that they had to do both programs if they had a very good agent already who worked well with them.
In 2009, Amanda and Trent Hurley officially bought C&H Insurance from Hurley & Associates. Today they continue to work well together, assessing client’s needs and risks. C&H Insurance is available to all Hurley clients if they have a need but never pushed. We currently have just as many non-Hurley clients as shared. We specialize in Multi-Peril Crop Insurance, Pasture Rangeland and Forage, Hail and Livestock Risk Protection.
